Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using MyEmail ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description

MyEmail is a macOS email client developed by Anton Korenskoy ("Developer"). The App connects to email accounts via IMAP/SMTP and processes all data locally on your device.

3. License

MyEmail is distributed under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, and distribute the App subject to the terms of that license.

You agree not to:

• Use the App to violate third-party rights or applicable law
• Circumvent the authentication or security mechanisms of mail servers
• Use the App for unsolicited bulk email or spam

4. Accounts and Authentication

You are solely responsible for the security of your email credentials and for all activity through accounts connected in the App. OAuth2 tokens are stored in the macOS system Keychain. The Developer has no access to your credentials or tokens.

5. User Content

You are solely responsible for the content of emails you access through the App. The Developer does not review, store on any server, or assume responsibility for your email content.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.

The Developer does not guarantee:

• Data integrity in the event of App, OS, or hardware failure
• Compatibility with all mail providers or server configurations
• Uninterrupted operation under network restrictions or provider policy changes

Back up important emails regularly using independent tools.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

8. Changes to Terms

The Developer may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. The Developer may discontinue distribution of the App without prior notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts at the Developer's place of residence.
